Inca Trail 4D/3N

Day 01:
- Pick up from the hotel (Cusco) at 4:30 am, transfer from Cusco to km 82. We will pass through the first checkpoint of the Inca Trail to begin our trek. In this part is very important to have the original and physical Passport.
- After the checkpoint we will have 2 hours of walking to go to Pacallacta. This is an ancient Inca checkpoint. From there we will start another walk for 2 hours until our lunch spot.
- After lunch, we will have to walk for 2 more hours to Ayapata (3000 meters) where we will spend the night. Then we will through 2 small comunities and there we will be able to find grocery stores.
- 5:00 PM Arrival to the camping area
- 7:00 PM Dinner
Day 02:
- We will start the second day very early, we will have to go through the Warmi Wañuska pass (4215 meters/13829 feet). In the highest pass we will have a short break and a brief interpretation about the place and then we will descend to the Pacay Mayu Valley, we will walk through the valley until we arrive to the lunch point.
- After lunch we wil begin the ascent to Runcu Racay after visiting it we wil descent to Sayacmarka (beautiful inaccessible archaeological center) and then watch the sunset over the Vilcabamba mountain range.
- In just 20 minutes we will arrive to our second camping point in Chaquicocha (Lago Seco, 3600 meters).
Day 03:
- Also this day we will begin very early we will walk for 2 hours until we reach the point known as the cloud forest (entrance to the jungle). In this part there is a beautiful change of ecosystem and we will also have the view of the snowy Salkantay.
- We will walk to the last peak in Phuyupatamarka (3600 meters) In this part we will have the first view of Machupichu; From Phuyupatamarka (City in the Clouds) is a walk of 3 hours by a stretch of steps to our last camp, near Wiñay Wayna (Forever young).
- After lunch we will have time for enjoy the beautiful landscape and prepare us for the last day of the tour inmediately after the visit to Wiñay Wayna we will have a short brief orientation by the guide which will consist explaining the importance of the site and will combine all the information given during the trip.
- This way you will be fully prepared for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 04:
- This last day we will start at 3:30 am to have breakfast at 4:00 am, At this point we will dismiss to the teamof chefs and porters and then we will go to Inti Punku, from there we will have amazing views of the mountains and Machu Picchu in all its splendor.
- Around 7:40 AM we will arrive to the last checkpoint and we will enter to Machu Picchu.
- Once the visit to Machu Picchu is over we will proceed to return to Cusco.
