Day 01:
Cusco, Alfamayo and Santa María:
- 6:00 AM pick up from the hotel to go to Santa Maria, we will cross the incredible Sacred Valley of the Incas with wonderful views of the Inca mountain range, after two hours by car we will stop in Ollantaytambo for a light breakfast.
- 8:30 AM we will ascend enjoying the landscape of an ecological floor called puna directly to the high jungle that is to say from 4350 to 1430 masl where the climate is pleasant from the beginning to the end.
- In Abra Malaga, you will get all the cycling equipment and also a previous cycling training.
- We will descent by bike from Abra Malaga to the Inca site of Huamanmarca to have lunch and explore the small Inca ruins of Huamanmarca.
- From Santa Maria we transfer to the monkey house where we will spend the night.
Day 02:
The monkey house-Santa Teresa:
- After a good breakfast at the monkey house we start our hike of approximately 6 hours between ascents and descents and the most interesting thing is that we will see a great diversity of flora such as coca leaves, coffee, mango, orange, tangerine, passion fruit, etc. and fauna with exotic animals of the area.
- After an arduous hike we arrive to Santa Teresa where we will have lunch in a local restaurant.
- After lunch we go to the thermal baths of cocalmayo.
- After the visit to the thermal baths we will go to Santa Teresa to the lodging where we will also have dinner.
Day 03:
Santa Teresa and Aguas Calientes:
- After breakfast in Santa Teresa we will go to the place of extreme sports. The activity will last approximately two hours and at the end, we will take the transport to go to the hydroelectric plant.
- Once in hydroelectric we will have lunch and then continue with our hike.
- We will start the hike around the Vilcanota river on the way, we will see the Santa Teresa and Hydroelectric power plant, and we will also see beautiful waterfalls.
- Once in the town of Aguas Calientes we will go to the hotel and after a relaxing break we will have dinner.
Day 04:
Aguas Calientes, Cocalmayo and Aguas Calientes:
- This last day we will start very early having a Delicious breakfast. We head on foot to Machupicchu, to be able to see the cloud forest and other natural wonders of the sunrise.
- Then we will start walking to the Puente Ruinas checkpoint for 30 minutes, which is open at 5:00 AM in this place you have to show your Passport and tickets to Machupicchu.
- After pass the first checkpoint we will walk for all the stairs during one hour until the main entrance to Machupicchu.
- Once everyone is at the gate you will enter to Machupicchu and have a 2 hours and 50 minutes guided tour for learning all about the lost city of the Incas.
- The time you will spend in Machu Picchu will depend on how you want to return to Cusco and will also depend on whether you want to climb Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu Mountain, that must be reserved in advance.
